How Do I Create an Account with ACE CREDIT?
If you find you've completed courses with ACE credit recommendations, sign up for free using the Registry and Transcript System (click here). Simply follow the prompts to create an account.
Building your transcript: Once you've created an account, you can begin building your transcript. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Conduct a search for courses you have taken by clicking "course search" on the left sidebar.
Step 2: A list of search fields will appear. It is recommended to search by the name of the organization you took your courses through.
Step 3: A list of courses offered by that organization will appear. Click on the name of the course you took. A box will pop up entitled course detail. Pay attention to the following:
- Dates offered: you'll need to take the course in this time frame to qualify for credit recommendations
- Location: this will tell you where you must have taken the course to be eligible for credit recommendations
- Credit Recommendation: this will tell you what type of degree and subject area the credit recommendation can count towards
If you meet these criteria, click "add to transcript."
Step 4: Enter the date you completed the course, and hit "submit for review."
Before your course can be added to your transcript, the organization you took it with will have to review it. Once the organization has given its approval, you will receive an e-mail notification.
