How to Request a Transcript from ACE via Credly


To request an official ACE transcript, follow the steps below. You will need to wait until at least one of your Study.com courses has its final grade posted. 


  • On your Dashboard, go to the My Courses tab and click Request Transcripts (refer to the image above).
  • If your Study.com account is canceled or paused, log back in to access the request link. Once logged in, scroll down on the Reactivate Your Account page to find the "Request Transcript" link — you do not need to reactivate your account to proceed.
  • When the transcript request window opens, set the Destination field to Credly.
  • Review your information at each stage to ensure it is correct, then click Continue.
  • When asked to select a transcript type, choose ACE via Credly and click Submit.
  • Check your inbox for two emails:
    1. A transcript request confirmation from Study.com.
    2. An email from Credly with instructions on how to request your transcript.
  • Follow the instructions in the Credly email to create an account on Credly's platform — this account is required to request your transcript.
  • Once your account is set up, visit the Credly page linked here, which walks you through how to request a transcript using your ACE credit.

How long does it take to get an "ACE/Credly" transcript?

After you take your exam and submit any papers, please expect the following turnaround process:

  • 1-2 WEEKS for your final grade to be posted.
  • You Must Submit the transcript request form and select "ACE/Credly" for transcript type.
  • 1 HOUR or Less to receive the instruction emails from Credly. Check your spam folder.
  • You Must Create a Credly Account and claim your badges.
  • You Must Complete a Credly transcript request, as described on this page on the Credly website.
  • 1 HOUR or Less for your Credly transcript to be emailed out.
  • 1-3 WEEKS for your college to add the new courses to your record.
