Study.com itself is not an accredited institution. As an alternate College Credit Provider, at the collegiate level, we offer transferable college credit through courses that are credit-recommended by ACE (the American Council on Education) and/or NCCRS (the National College Credit Recommendation Service). These collegiate courses include a proctored final exam. At the homeschool level, Study.com provides the curriculum material but does not offer any proctoring or verification of academic integrity. Therefore, it is the parent's or guardian's responsibility to oversee the student's work and provide official grade reports or transcripts. Study.com can provide homeschool parents/guardians with a summary of quiz scores recorded on the student's account. Final grades and Transcripts cannot be provided by Study.com and will need to be completed by the parent. Official transcript templates and certificate templates can be found online to create your student transcript or report card showing your students work.

We encourage you to be in touch with your local Department of Education or School to determine whether Study.com would be accepted for credit.
