If you're having trouble setting up your Family Plan and aren't sure what to do next, read on!
If you have an existing Study.com account that you would like to continuing using for your student, that account needs to be under your student's name and email address and not your own. If it is not in the student's name, you can easily update this from the Profile tab on your Member Dashboard.
Once your student account is under the correct email address, you will need to go through the sign up process again. Please select Parent as "what best describes you" (see example below)
Next, you will be asked your main goal, please select Homeschool
You will then be asked if you are interested in a Family Plan, please select Yes.
Last, you will enter your email address that your Free Admin account will be under, please enter your own email address, which should be different from your student's. This will distinguish the two accounts in our system and is crucial to setting up a Family Plan correctly.
Since each Family Plan account holder needs a paid subscription attached to it, you will be charged for a new subscription, but don't worry, once the account is set up, you will be able to invite your existing student account to join the plan and will be automatically refunded the new balance that was charged. If you wish to add additional students, you can do so from the dashboard of the Admin account.
